Panda Bowmen      WA 80 cm archery target

Welcome to Panda Bowmen Archery Club

Based at the West Park Leeds RUFC in Bramhope, North Leeds, LS16 9JR (directions), Panda Bowmen boasts one of the best archery grounds in Yorkshire.

We are able to cater for target shooting - all distances and clout shooting- up to 180 yards (165 metres). We are also able to host occasional fun shoots throughout the year.

Saturday meeting times

During British Summer Time (beginning of April until end of October):

Arriving at 12.15-12.30pm for setup, shooting from 1.00pm until 4.00pm approx

Saturday mornings during the Summer Time months are reserved for beginners' courses (see Have a Go and Beginners).

During Greenwich Mean Time (end of October to end of March):

10.30am until 1.30pm approx

Other shooting times to be arranged between archers (at least two archers) as the field is normally available 7 days a week


Directions

If coming from the south on the A660 Otley Road, pass Golden Acre Park, at the roundabout turn left into The Sycamores, then immediate left into the Rugby Grounds. The X84 bus also stops near to the club.

COVID-19

COVID-19 measures, including wearing masks in the equipment locker and wearing thick gloves when handling club equipment, are no longer mandatory. However, members are welcome to continue taking these precautions if they wish to do so for their own comfort and safety. Please be considerate and respectful of other club members' personal choices in this matter.


Children and young people

At Panda Bowmen we believe that when dealing with children and young people their welfare must always be of paramount importance. We are committed to providing an environment where children and young people can learn and participate in archery free from harassment and abuse. All those people working with children and young people have a moral responsibility to safeguard and promote a child and young persons’ welfare. This club has adopted the Archery GB Policy for Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults to ensure peace of mind for adults, children, young people and vulnerable adults.
